How to use Fill PDF Form
Select the PDF form. The fillable fields appear over the pages and in the panel.
Fill in the fields: type in text boxes, tick check boxes, choose one option for radio buttons and drop-downs.
Switch on Flatten the answers if the file should no longer be editable.
Click Fill form and download the completed PDF. Open it once to check the answers.
What it does and what it does not do
Only interactive forms (AcroForm) are filled. A PDF that is just a picture of a form has no fields; print it, or add text with the Sign or Stamp tools. Dynamic XFA forms (Adobe LiveCycle) are not supported and the tool says so.
Text is drawn with the built-in Helvetica font, so only Latin letters and common symbols are accepted (accents are fine). Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Arabic, Cyrillic or Greek text is refused with a clear message instead of being drawn wrongly.
Digital-signature fields and push buttons cannot be filled here, and read-only fields are shown but not changed.
Scripts inside the form (calculated totals, format rules, show/hide logic) are not run. A calculated field keeps the value you type; check totals yourself.
Without flattening, the answers stay editable and some readers redraw the fields in their own style. Flatten makes every viewer show the same page and cannot be undone on the downloaded copy, so keep the unflattened file if you may need to edit again.
Password-protected PDFs ask for the password first. Pages, links and bookmarks are kept as they were.
Is my file uploaded?
The form and your answers stay in your browser. They are written into the PDF locally with the same engine as the other tools. Nothing is sent to a server.
Fillable fields versus a scanned form
A fillable form has real fields: you can click into them in a PDF reader. This tool shows each field as a box on the page and lists it in the panel, so even a form with hundreds of fields is manageable, with a search box to jump to one. If no field appears, the PDF is a flat page; there is nothing to fill in and the tool tells you so.
Flatten or keep the form editable
Keep the form editable when the other person must change or add answers. Flatten when you send it as final, for example to a registry or a landlord: the answers become part of the page, cannot be edited by mistake and look the same in every viewer, including printers and phone previews.

Frequently asked questions
How do I fill in a PDF form without Acrobat?
Open the form in this tool, click each field or use the panel, type your answers and click Fill form. The completed PDF downloads from your browser.
Are my answers uploaded anywhere?
No. The form is filled locally in your browser, so personal data in it never leaves your device.
Why does the tool say there are no fillable fields?
The PDF is probably a flat page or a scan, without interactive fields. You cannot fill it here; use Sign or Stamp to place text, or print it.
What does flatten do?
It writes the answers into the page and removes the fields. The result looks the same everywhere but can no longer be edited.
Can I type accents or non-Latin letters?
Accents and Latin letters yes. Cyrillic, Greek, Arabic and East Asian scripts are not supported because the form font cannot draw them; the tool refuses them instead of showing wrong characters.
Does it work with XFA forms?
No. XFA (dynamic Adobe forms) can only be filled in Adobe Acrobat Reader. The tool detects them and says so.
