How to use PDF to PowerPoint
Select the PDF.
Choose Exact look to keep the page as it is, or Editable text boxes to be able to change the text.
For Exact look pick the picture resolution and keep the invisible text on if you want to search the slides.
Click Convert to PowerPoint and open the .pptx in PowerPoint, Keynote or Google Slides.
What it does and what it does not do
Exact look puts each page in as a picture: it looks identical, but it is not editable. With invisible text on, PowerPoint search finds words, but changing the text does not change the picture.
Editable text boxes rebuild only the text: one box per line or cell, in black, with Arial, Times New Roman or Courier New chosen from the type of font. Photos, drawings, tables borders, backgrounds and colours of the PDF are not carried over, and line breaks follow the PDF, not PowerPoint reflow.
Slides have the size of the first page. Pages of other sizes are scaled to fit and centred. PowerPoint's limit of 56 inches is respected by scaling very large pages.
A scanned PDF has no text, so Editable text boxes fails with a message; Exact look works but has no searchable text. Run OCR PDF first for that.
This is a conversion of pages, not of a designed deck: no layouts, masters, animations, speaker notes or links are created.
Large documents make large decks, because every slide holds a picture; lower the resolution to Light to reduce the size.
Is my file uploaded?
The PDF is rendered in your browser and the .pptx is assembled locally. Nothing is uploaded.
Picture slides or editable text
Pick Exact look to present or share a PDF as slides without any change in appearance, for example a report or a poster. Pick Editable text boxes when you want to reuse the words: the text lands in separate boxes that you can edit, move or delete, and you add your own design around them.
PDF slides back to PowerPoint
If the PDF was exported from slides, the page size is usually 16:9, so the new slides come out the same shape. Exact look gives you back identical pictures, which is useful for presenting; recovering the original editable slides, animations and layouts is not possible from a PDF.

Frequently asked questions
How do I convert a PDF to PowerPoint?
Select the PDF, choose picture slides or editable text boxes, and click Convert to PowerPoint. The .pptx has one slide per page.
Can I edit the text in the slides?
Yes in Editable text boxes mode: every line is a text box. In Exact look the page is a picture and cannot be edited.
Why are my images missing in editable mode?
That mode rebuilds text only. Photos, drawings and backgrounds are not carried over; use Exact look to keep the look of the page.
Does it work with a scanned PDF?
Exact look does, because it only needs the page image, but there is no searchable text. Editable text boxes needs a text layer: run OCR PDF first.
What size are the slides?
The size of the first page of the PDF. Pages of other sizes are scaled to fit.
Is my PDF uploaded?
No. The conversion runs in your browser.
